We are pleased to welcome our juror, Mr. Robert Wilbert of Detroit, Michigan.
Mr. Wilbert was born in Chicago, Illinois. In his 40-year tenure in painting instruction at Wayne State University, he became a widely admired and beloved mentor. His philosophy and methodology have deeply interconnected the artists in our cultural community.
Mr. Wilbert’s art has been exhibited by:
- The Metropolitan Museum of New York
- The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts
- The Detroit Institute of Arts
The art of Mr. Wilbert continues to show at the Detroit Institute of Art even today.
Robert Wilbert now teaches painting at The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.
